About LF, it stays maybe more or less the same. But the A/C are bigger as well. So I guess the LF will go up as well. Just at a later stage. Maybe the signal of the Belgian customers will come, that they want to fly a Belgian home carrier !

Re: Interview of CEO Gustin: Brussels Airlines renamed Eurowings? ...and other topics

Just one remark in this. SN has a long standing reputation in Africa. Even during the different crisisses the kept on flying. And LH lost much of that during the last years. So will LH destroy the gold of SN ? Because working the german way in Africa will never ever work ! I worked several years C/I...

Re: Brussels Airlines to open new route to Bremen as of 14 September 2015

Honestly, with such a timetable, I wonder how long these flights will operate before they abandon them ? (just like the evening/night flight to/from Moscow). I assume they will have this flight until the winter schedule and give then better hours for connections day-return trips. I think for now, t...

Re: BRU Summer 2015: latest news, routes, airlines

Why are so many people flying KLM when The Netherlands have no historic ties with Rwanda, while Belgium has always been present here? Because SN flies on triangle flights ! KGL in combination with EBB/BJM/NBO ? Then the figures show that KLM is not doing that well ! With non-stop direct flights. An...

Re: Automatic check-in removes a process that adds no value whatsoever

What about seat selection? You normally do that already at booking, don't you? But should you have done so yet (because your ticket class doesn't allow it so soon), the system I know will assign one to you (based on your seat preference stored in your Miles and More profile). If you somehow would l...

Re: Automatic check-in removes a process that adds no value whatsoever

I agree that it makes life much easier for many passenger to do automated check-in. But still some thoughts, what about seat selection ? Which is not done for about 70-75% of the passengers. This could give some very difficult situations at the gate and on board on full flights. By not checking peop...

Re: Automatic check-in removes a process that adds no value whatsoever

Indeed! Spain, uk and Ireland have a history (and currency) of terrorism and that is partly why ID checks are required. There have been trials to see if something could be changed or not, but so far no decision has been taken by the aviation authorities. In fact ... Spain recently made their rules ...

Re: Automatic check-in removes a process that adds no value whatsoever

No, cause you still need to enter your passport details somewhere. If you forget to do that you still wont get a boarding card. Btw teach, every airline can decide in their own security program if they want ID checks to be done regardless if itsa aviation authority requirement. SN has obviously cho...
