Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Just to be clear I speak for myself and not for a company. I totally agree that is a mess and that some explanation is needed, don’t get me wrong.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

I bought tickets for my partner and myself for a festival. About 480€ in total. I don’t even have the choice for a refund... I still can eat, drink and pay my bills. I know the refunds take way to long but at least you will get your money back some day. Everybody knows by now that you all are rightf...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Hey topmanagers,

For info: This discussion is going nowhere. It is even getting boring and really predictable. Being topmanagers you guys have lots of time at hand, maybe start to use your energy to get rid off frustrations. Go outside, take a walk, smoke a cigar, have an apero this afternoon.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

I am good at fifa 20 on playstation. Does that make me a good soccer manager. We don’t have enough information to say anything useful. Only guessing... We are nothing but wannabees, don’t forget that. Otherwise I would be earning big money now iso posting on luchtzak. Have a beer, enjoy the weekend,...

Re: Would you consider a go-around as an abnormality?

Do you need to file a ASR (MOR) in case of a go-around below 500'? We have to.
Do you write a ASR for a de-icing? Guess not. Except if it was not done correctly.

Re: Would you consider a go-around as an abnormality?

Wel I did about 2800 landings as PF and about the same amount as PNF. Which makes roughly 5600 approaches. I can count the go-arounds we made on 2 hands. Just to put some perspective here... I would never call a go-around a normal procedure. It is a procedure well trained in sim, but if everything g...

Re: Emirates 777-300 crash-landing at DXB

If someone wants to take his/her belongings, you can shout as much as you like... Let's not forget that FCM/CCM are not used to crashes, so nobody can tell how one would react. It is easy for us to comment on this forum, luckily we were not on the plane. As for every crash, also here lessons will be...

So nice I could turn this discussion around! Indeed we should support Belgian economy ourselves!

Now they only need to admit that those checks are foolish!

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

Can everybody who claims never to fly out of BRU anymore, be so honnest and admit when they'll take a flight again from BRU. I am just curious if everything goes smoother again to see if you'll all continue to take AMS etc... Hoping for some honnesty here :-)
