Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024

Hi all, Agree they should focus first on adding frequencies and de-coupling eventually triangular flights. However, I see also a possibility that LH/LX shift e.g. Dar Es Salaam to SN, just like they did with Accra. On Lagos I am not so sure. Nairobi is added now, but it is also offered by LH. I see...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024

Exciting news. I really hope they'll finally start flying to South Africa (JNB, CPT). You can't be the 'African expert' airline, without flying to the most important tourist destination in Africa. I agree, but I think they'll need more planes for that: a JNB or CPT flight + clean/maintenance/refuel...

And where would they put a spare engine?
In the overhead bin, of course ;)

Does someone know what is their situation? On FR24, we see their planes flying every day for passengers as well as cargo flights for several companies, including LOT, DHL, Corsair, and some asian companies.

Re: EgyptAir stewardesses begin wearing hijab

Of course they shoud have the right to wear a hijab. But passengers have the right to regret that, after so many years when it was forbidden, they feel the desire, the need, or maybe the social obligation to wear it. What passenger would "regret" that flight attendants have the right to a...

Re: EgyptAir stewardesses begin wearing hijab

When I went to Egypt with Egyptair three years ago, stewardesses were not allowed to wear the Islamic veil called hijab. Now, some EgyptAir stewardesses who campaigned to wear the Muslim headscarf have begun donning the hijab for the first time since the national carrier was founded in 1932. The fi...

And with 2 daily A320 from CDG to BRU sometimes even 3, how many Parisian travelling through BRU to connect to Africa... you can see it the other way around the only factor is prices and a flight "BRU"-CDG-FIH will often be cheaper than a direct BRU-FIH and the other way around. Even if I...
