Alitalia managing director Giancarlo Zeni is mulling a new restructuring plan which includes a review of lease contracts, eight fewer aircraft, and 1000 lost jobs.

I'm afraid that will not be enough to get the airline out of the red figures...
And it won't be accepted by the unions either.

No. An injury requiring a plaster is certain to invalidate your medical, which automatically invalidates your licence.

And what about short-haul flights, btw? ;)

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

No newspaper anymore on long haul flights in Business with Brussels airlines. I find this completely outrageous and unacceptable!!!! With Lufthansa you can download your newspaper but you still have your papers on the plane in fact I never traveled on long haul in Business with an airline not offer...

But I would add a beautiful roof structure like this one below. This would give the airport a much needed, modern look!

Of course there are a lot of connecting passengers on CDG-BRU, these flights are only bootable as connecting flights... But a significant portion of these passengers traveled from Brussels to Paris by FlixBus first because CDG-BRU-FIH is cheaper than BRU-FIH. Often the ones who check their bags in ...

OO-SFX currently taxiing at AMM as SN9910 (in preparation for T.O. at last?); due to do SN359 BRU-LAD tomorrow.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

OO-SFU operating SN371 to DLA diverted to Kano. Landing there at 16:50Z, first take off attempt 4 hours later followed by a return to the apron. Another hour later she took off for Douala. 4 hours grounded + another 1h after a dry run on the runway may point towards a technical issue rather than me...

Re: Airbus A320 and A320neo news

All, but the last one, in the Bruair fleet are converted. Airbus did it by moving the two toilets that are left and right behind the last row. This free the space for more seats. The 2 toilets are in the galley facing the back of the plane. https://theflyingengineer.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/ceo-...

SFU's life has been quite hectic recently: engine stall due to contaminated fuel a few months ago and last week a bloody nose during a push-back in BRU. I hope she'll survive until her retirement apparently foreseen for March next year ;) .
