Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
OO-SFY has/had PW4168 engines. On the Home page, the SN Rejuvenating article referred to standardisation on Trent 772-60 engines. Could it be that this is what they do now in LIS? I was under the impression that changing engine type is not that simple. Tango and Zulu have also the PW engines. H.A. ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
So Lufthansa is doing is job in BRU... Axes Mumbai.. i can not believe that a direct flight to India will not work, with the large Indian community and the Diamant sector. Business people don’t want to fly 1stop... i see a lot of passengers go to India via AMS. Do you believe for one second LH woul...

Re: Ryanair cabin crew strike 25 and 26 July 2018 - cockpit strike 10 August
Ryanair pilots based in The Netherlands have joined their Belgian, German, Irish and Swedish colleagues to strike next Friday, 10 August. With reservation as tomorrow (9 August) Ryanair is going to court to prevent the Dutch based pilot strike. https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/ryanair/dutch-based...

There are renovations going on in the building adjacent to the B.House. Does anyone know what is going on there? And what will be the new purpose of this building?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
One can discuss a lot about brands, we could have a look on Facebook and how many followers some airline have (only the ones that spring into my mind): Qatar Airways: 13,000,000 Emirates: 9,000,000 British Airways: 3,000,000 Lufthansa: 3,400,000 Air France: 7,100,000 KLM: 12,400,000 easyJet: 1,500,...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
And why did they chose Brussels Airlines instead of Belgian Airlines at that time ? Belgian politics! Some people in the North of the country dislike anything that carries the name "Belgian". That's also why the TV broadcaster BRT changed its name to VRT for example. the same is true for ...

Re: BRU: B787 versus A350
Hi all, Long time ago, BRU long haul was mainly A330 or B767 (and also B777). With the new types coming in (of course A330 will stay for a long time because of SN) we see more and more B787 and A350 ... B787: Tokyo ANA B787-800 Addis Ababa ET B787-800 Shanghai HU B787-900 (?) A350: Doha QR A350-900...

This airline is a disgrace for aviation. I hope ALL affected passengers will file for a reimbursement AND compensation!

Re: ECJ: Ryanair crew based in Belgium fall under Belgian jurisdiction!
And ITR, seems like a very bitter pill to swallow that your company is using the same practices that you've condemned here on the forum multiple times when asking for a level playing field. Shame that you always (together with some others) have to play the man rather than the ball don't worry. &quo...

Re: ECJ: Ryanair crew based in Belgium fall under Belgian labour law!
Odd how the discussion is turned from a ruling about Ryanair and its "creative" contracts/constructs (which has been going on for years, this ruling should have happened faster) to the SN wetlease contract. Try as one might, they're not the same thing, and it's a sad attempt to get this t...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I m still convince that this is not the right aircraft to fly for Africa, because with the actual network even the A330 are almost full everyday, if not in cabin, it s full in the belly. The A321LR doesn't have such cargo capacity. The only point I would see the A321LR would be on long haul leisure...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
SWISS is studying the new A321LR, as the aircraft can reach new markets for the carrier, including the US East coast. And now I read that the CEO of SWISS would use them on African route! In competition with SN???? http://atwonline.com/airframes/ceo-swiss-considering-airbus-a321neolr-africa-routes ...

Re: Looking for current SN AVRO RJ flights / and KLM Fokker F70 too
Greetings All, I live in the U.S. and would like to fly over Europe this weekend or next to try to fly on an SN ARJ. Can someone please list the routes that the aircraft is currently flown on? If there are some good round trip options that depart BRU after 1100 that would be excellent! Stretch goal...

[Sorry if this is the wrong topic] In the inflight magazine of August, B-Inspired, they have a double page where they call people to provide ideas for the fifth Belgian Icon livery. http://edition.pagesuite.com/html5/reader/production/default.aspx?pubname=&edid=2831dac3-7009-463f-8ca6-288bb620b...
