Re: Air Belgium in 2018

If you have booked because it’s BA and because it’s a 787, you feel more then disappointed when you end up in an AB A340. To be fair, in economy class, the AB 343 is more comfortable than the BA 787. Passengers should be enchanted! I was about to write the same thing, I'd take an A340 ride over the...

Re: VLM (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018

Hello Easier to spread your attention and kindness to 5 pax than to a full loaded aircraft 8-) With 5 pax you can easily make a personal talk with every pax and still do your service, how do you want to do that on a fully booked flight? So in my opinion not a very hard task to be friendly and do a ...

Re: VLM (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018

Did a daytrip ANR-CGN-ANR today with two friends. This morning we had the whole aircraft for us as we were the only pax on board 8-) The flight attendant told us that they were picking-up 21 pax in CGN to continue to RLG. On the way back in the afternoon 16 pax flew RLG-CGN, two stayed onboard to co...

Re: VLM (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018

Anybody know the other loadfactors or the VLM routes? I flew with them this week ANR-ZRH and back. Monday morning ANR-ZRH, around 85% Tuesday evening ZRH-ANR, 30% Friday evening ANR-ZRH (flown by a friend of mine), 36% Monday and tuesday flights were on OO-VLN, the aircraft showed its age but apart...

Re: Where will you fly in 2018 ?

OSL-ARN ET B788 Wow, that's cool. I'll have to look into that one myself;-) Grts, Ivan Lex, you beat me (or us  ) on this ! I was looking at that very flight earlier this week and it's indeed very tempting as it can be done for a very reasonable price on a two days trip from BRU. I'll probably...

Re: Where will you fly in 2018 ?

Some really impressive lists over here. I suppose these are all business trips? It's 100% leisure for me. As travel and aviation are my main hobbies I just try to live them as much as I can, that's a personal choice. Don't get me wrong, I'm not rich and don't have a "high-end job", but I do have a ...

Great report, André, I was just wondering which destinations would have the more chance to get those birds as I'd like to fly them :)

Re: Cheapest option?

I guess around end of August. First settle there and get used to the university. Studies end the end of November, but will probably do some traveling afterwards. I assume you'll need to go back to SYD again after december if you're going to the university ? If so then you can book an one-way ticket...
