Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

Apparently, OO-VEX is indeed leaving the fleet.

According to skyliner, the plane was ferried today (06 Nov) from Bacau - Romania to East Midlands for paint.

When are the next 737's are going to be phased out?

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

According to http://data.flight24.com/airplanes/oo-djn/ OO-DJN did a late TRN flight on August 9th, and afterwards did not fly anymore .

Since DJK & DJL are already stored, is this the next one already in storage?

Re: BRU summer 2011: latest news, routes, airlines

I think this reshuffle of the West-African operations is a logic consequence of some political disruptions affecting the aviation market. The Abidjan business market collapsed due to the political issues between Mr Ouatara en Mr Gbagbo, and the economical impact is huge!! If you look at the Ivory co...

EZY 3962 TLS-CDG diverted to LIL(LFQQ)

and probably more to come, as weather in Paris region is deteriorating...

Re: Abnormalities at BRU / ANR / LGG / CRL / OST 2010

Snow arrived @BRU.

Due to current wind (030/12), RWY 02 in use.

Currently EZY from LYS, CSA, OA and AZ from FCO in the hold over Bruno.
SN from LYS & GVA were also in the hold, but diverted to LGG.

Probably more disruptions to come tonight!!

Re: Most Spanish Air Traffic Controllers called in sick!

ATC situation in Spain for the airlines quite stable for now. Did a few flights over Spain this week, and except for the unwillingness to give any aircraft a short-cut, everything went quite well. (no severe slots, ...) Although it has to be said that Madrid and Barcelona Control presented themselve...

Re: Abnormalities at BRU / ANR / LGG / CRL / OST

Very big mess apparently!!

Snowing zone from OST until MST causes closure of OST, BRU, ANR, LGG, CRL, MST, RTM, ...

LUX seems bad, but no confirmation about closure.
Divertion possibilities for aircraft are limiting.

A/C diverting to UK for the moment!!

Hi, i flew the route quite a few times... Nothing special, business men orientated, a snack and a drink. EMA is a little airport (pax figures wise) compared to the surrounding airports, so if you don't arrive at the same time as the charter flights, you're out in 10 min! BMI regional operates the fl...

Very nice analysis, tolipanebas! I think that the route structure of an airline is based on numerous items. Most of the times historical ties are reflected in the network. Besides that, profitability and revenue are nowadays priorities number 1, and that's not only for a small(er) airline as Brussel...

SN2304 from BMA just touched down (15.56lt), so can we assume the airport is open again?

No new notams for an extension of the strike, so let's hope it's finished!

I can confirm that SAS is switching to Aviapartner for the handling of their flights.

Starting date seems to be 1st April.
Aviapartner already handles SAS at some airports in France and Italy.
