Re: World Airline Awards: SN deteriorating

Independently from the ranking, if you look how SN performs individually on Skytrax, it isn't that bad at all: https://skytraxratings.com/airlines/bru ... nes-rating

And then, of course, the Star Alliance gets the Best Airline Alliance award.

Re: World Airline Awards: SN deteriorating

My opinion of the Skytrax ratings is mitigated, to say the least. Those ratings are very subjective. An example: how can Qatar be #1 when they have the very narrow 10-abreast seating in the economy class of the B777? It looks like the ratings are based on the opinion of the happy few who can afford ...

Boeing has no plans to change the name of the B737 MAX after news reports that it would be prepared to do so to improve its future marketing. However, something strange happened today. IAG disclosed its intent to buy 200 (!) Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 10 aircraft . In the Boeing press release, the name Bo...

It is becoming urgent that the performance of SN, isolated from that of EW, be well identified. Kristina Foerster's role and duty as CEO is to defend her own airline within the LH group. To achieve what? Brussels Airlines is not doing well, the results are not as bad as the rest of Eurowings, but n...

Regarding the May figures, with an increase of 5.2% in pax number, the lower LF obviously comes from a higher offer as pointed out by "flightlover" hereabove.
Exactly:
- daily Washington flights rather than 5-weekly
- new destination Kyiv
- fewer strikes than in 2018
- larger aircraft
