I hope that the next Brussels Airlines strategic plan will be ambitious but also with fiability (it's correct word ?) as a target.
Reliability ;-)

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

The current aircraft, even the newer are not suitable for such long flight. For those flight a proper rest area (a bunk) is needed for the rest of the crew. The current configuration is then not suitable. Bunk should be installed in the cargo area with an access from the cabin. If not, no longer fli...

Re: Imagine you could travel around the world for free, which itinerary would you take and why?

Not very exotic but well… I would spend 5 days home, away from any airplane, might be difficult to understand for most people, but for crew member, home is the destination we cherish the most.

Re: Lufthansa in 2019

A stall is considered a particularly dangerous phenomenon in aviation. If the airflow is missing under the wings, aircraft crash. Only courageous manoeuvers can prevent worse. Off topic, but as this is an aviation forum.... An aircraft will stall (not necessarily crash) when the airflow OVER the wi...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Normally, on A320 flight there is Le Soir, L'Echo, De Morgen, Het Laatste Nieuws and Financial Times. A couple of years ago we also had some German newspaper coming from some station in Germany. Beside the newspaper for flex and business Passenger, we also have a selection of magasine for business c...

Re: Germania wobbling?

Exactly the kind of day you should stay at bed. Germania was my previous airlines before I join Brussels Airlines and I still know a lot of people there, now workless.

By the way a lot of people from Malev were working for Germania, this is now for them a second bankrupty.

At least, what is positive is that Brussels Airlines is back in track with business destination. And not again, holiday destination.

Internship

Hello, I'm writing here because I'm kind of despair to find an internship. Beside my job of cabin crew, I'm also a student in International trade (commerce extérieur/buitelandse handel) I'm looking for an internship and I must admit that it's not that easy as I fly 2 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF and that I ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

I have wrongly expressed myself, for which I apologies: I wanted to say that it is legally not allowed to strike in another country than Belgium, but that doesn't mean that the aircraft will all return to Brussels on Monday and Wednesday morning. Actually, the union asked the pilot on outstation to...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

If all the aircraft are coming back in the morning from outstation, I wonder where all those aircraft will be park as it will be the first time in Brussels Airport with 50+ Brussels Airlines tail. It might be interesting, hoping there will be some spotter.

Wizz Air will install 239 seats in its A321neos, which will begin arriving in January 2019. The carrier’s current A321ceo has a 230-seat configuration. Only 239 seats? When will airlines change their seats to half seats so they can squeeze more people in so more profit.A seat where you can half sit...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

If I can just add something Poiu, you said that at Lufthansa, they work less day a month. What you say is right but let me just explain the reason. Flight crew and cabin are limited to a certain number of "block hour". You can fly a maximum of 900h per year, and 100h per month (28days). In the case ...
