The picture provided with the tails is a nice gesture imho... Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

A company the size of SN has to position itself as premium in the market in order to compete. It doesn't have the size LH, AF, KL, BA, IB,... and other big Euro legacy carriers have so it has to differentiate itself on service level, right the contrary they do today and what LH wants them to do. Re: Lufthansa in 2019

Interesting, Brussels Airllines is again mentioned seperately several times... But still not a "Network airline". It shows the ambiguity of the LH management relative to SN. They still don't have a clue/plan what to do with Brussels Airlines. They keep excluding them from the Network airlines, whil...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

They wanted/bought SN for their ridiculous Eurowings project. Now that has failed they don't have a clue what to do with it.

Maybe they should just sell it to a company that is genuinely interested in BRU's home carrier. IAG? AF-KL?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I am very curious about the plan LH has for SN... Will the airline finally be treated like a family member or still like an unwanted child?

They have ordered up to 40 new B787/A350 for everyone

... except SN.

Re: Belgian Air Force news

Let's hope these Falcons get a nice livery (so not the boring one the Embraers or A321 have).

Just to compare: this is the Dutch government jet

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

Ok, let me explain. As you probably knows, BAC bought the Sheraton in front of the airport some time ago. Real Estate is a big part of the airports portfolio. Two major reasons for this: the hotel has most of the time full capacity, sold out and second, when you are owner of it, you can do with it ...

Please explain? Has the entrance to the airport on bus level changed? (last time I checked it was 1 little door...)

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

With all due respect……………. LOL !!! This is worse than amateur window dressing from BRU. I hope BAC realises the urgency of getting a new departures area ASAP. Apart from the vague, dreamy "2040" plans I haven't seen a single real, tangible plan. The current drop off, taxi and bus area are absolutel...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

The temporary drop off zone is indeed temporary bcs like I wrote earlier, the new drop off zone will be much closer to the terminal. Where will it be then? At the (old) location, where it was before the attacks? I'm curious about the renovation of the current terminal, but I'm disappointed they don...

I hope they come with an ambitious business plan in september. Enough time has been lost for SN over the last years with the ludicrous Eurowings failure!

Re: Air Belgium in 2019

As long as Air Belgium choses to fly from CRL, I don't see a bright future for them. Air Belgium seems more like a political project than a proper airline. Too bad.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

As a livery change is a big PR-operation for an airline, I don't believe this is the new livery. A new livery doesn't just show up without any communication or publicity campaign.

It's just a temporary solution. Please move on :)

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

It looks unfinished and temporary. As there is no official communication from SN, I don't believe this is the new livery. Re: Belgian Air Force news

Quite a weird air parade without Falcon, AlphaJets and SeaKing... With a good reason: these aircraft have all been phased out. Instead, we had the NH-90s, and a historical Spitfire: it doesn't happen so often! And the tricolour fumes from F-16s is also a new feature, as well as the national flag ha...
