Re: Belgian Air Force news

I've read the A321 of the BAF is repatriating Belgians. Unfortunately there are still Belgians stuck in far away destinations a A321 can't reach. I hope the need for a long range jet within the BAF is clear now and will be discussed after this crisis. The Luftwaffe recently got this A350. It has a l...

Re: [Coronavirus] State aid for (European) airlines ?

You can call it bullshit, but it is a possibility. I know it's an inconvenient truth for some, but sticking our head in the sand and ignoring it isn't going to help as it could have a great impact on aviation.

Re: [Coronavirus] State aid for (European) airlines ?

Some political posts and the reactions thereto have been removed. Let's remain on topic, please. Unbelievable. I regret this constant removal of comments because they are 'political'. The question whether the government will help airlines is political ! We are in the middle of the biggest crisis si...

I read that Air Belgium is flying Belgians home from Argentina. Absolutely great, but why isn't Brussels Airlines doing this?

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

This crisis is an absolute disaster for the aviation industry. The scale is unseen.

I hope most airlines will survive (with state aid if necessary)

Although I still regret the fact that they don't fly from BRU, I'm happy to see they're doing well!

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

can we , as a normal visitor or passenger, get a glimpse of this skyhall. like many of us , this hall brings me back to my childhood in the '70s It should be possible, in the part of the terminal with the check-in counters 11, 12 and 14. It is next to the Skyhall and there are windows between them....

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

The facade of the terminal, departure hall, is under renovation. The side wall, next to this one of the Deloitte building, is already finished. This is done in the same stone as the Deloitte building. Now the front part is under renovation Pictures available ?? Hopefully it will be more than some '...

Regarding the terminal itself, there will be a prolonging of the terminal in the direction where the former DHL building was. But this is still under reservation.
Interesting!

You mean where the current (old) Swissport builing is located?

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

Renovation of the facade?

Is there any global plan/new design for the terminal? What architect designed it? Where are the renders?

Instead of an overall ambitious plan they will 'renovate' bit by bit without any global approach?

Please tell me I'm wrong.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

A company the size of SN has to position itself as premium in the market in order to compete. It doesn't have the size LH, AF, KL, BA, IB,... and other big Euro legacy carriers have so it has to differentiate itself on service level, right the contrary they do today and what LH wants them to do. Re: Lufthansa in 2019

Interesting, Brussels Airllines is again mentioned seperately several times... But still not a "Network airline". It shows the ambiguity of the LH management relative to SN. They still don't have a clue/plan what to do with Brussels Airlines. They keep excluding them from the Network airlines, whil...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

They wanted/bought SN for their ridiculous Eurowings project. Now that has failed they don't have a clue what to do with it.

Maybe they should just sell it to a company that is genuinely interested in BRU's home carrier. IAG? AF-KL?
