Re: Air Belgium in 2018
Beda...

Their Twitter account says the following: We’re still checking all operational aspects of the second rehearsal flight this Saturday afternoon. We'll keep you posted as soon as all parties involved give us the green light. We're doing our utmost to start the online bookings this Tuesday at 10 AM. Tha...

Re: Air Belgium in 2018
For the lucky ones who managed to book a place on the first flight: can you book several seats at once? Are they (temporarily) blocked until you complete the payment? Are the payment methods the same as on the regular booking module (i.e. credit card and Maestro)?

Just saw a white 747 taking off from some distance, must have been around 10.20 AM... anyone know what it was? Couldn't find anything in the cargo departures.

Re: BRU 25/06/2011
My recipe? Knowing how to use a flash creatively and efficiently. Instead of just nuking your subject with a bare flash head on, try to bounce it using something big and pale, put something between the flash and the subject, go wild. In the case of a 737 flight deck, the aft overhead panel will do ...

The normal 25L/25R has been turned around since +/- 1 PM, planes are landing on 7L and taking off from 7R now.

I just saw a large 4 engine jet taking off from runway 25R around 17.30 - 18 h, white / purple colour scheme, not sure whether it was an A340 or 747 (it was too high up in the sky)... anyone got an idea what it was? 17.53: B744F - Cathay Pacific Cargo - B-HUS (reg not sure) 17.46: B744F - Asiana Ca...

Why exactly? Because the fuel reduction makes this flight worth the while economically?JAF737 wrote:Hi all,

Care to share where you were standing? That doesn't really look like a spotter's place I'm familiar with... After some tracing... Am I right when I say you were standing here ? 1-2-3-6-7-8-10: Brucargo (300mm and 17-40) 4 - 5: Watertower (600mm) 9: 25L Very nice shots indeed! Were at Brucargo were ...

Re: BRU 08/03/2011
300mm is more than enough on the top floor of Front Park 1, unless you want to "follow" the plane really far. It's also enough when you're near Abelag, although I can imagine that 300 to 400mm gives you a bit more comfort since the planes can be already quite high (especially the smaller o...

Re: BRU 24/02/2011 - Putin in Brussels
Hi MIVB Reiziger! I was around BRU for the landing of the second IL-62, just before 18:30. Lighting conditions were at the limit, so I decided to quickly switch from my DSLR to the video function of my Point & Shoot. I posted it on Youtube so you can have an idea of the lighting at that time. @...

Re: BRU 24/02/2011 - Putin in Brussels
Could someone tell me what the lighting conditions are around 17-18, these days? I'd like to try to capture a few of these rare birds taking off tomorrow, but I wouldn't have a clue how light it will be, since I'm usually still at work around that time. I can always use my 50mm f/1.8 lens in the wor...
