Ah ah, you should write a thriller !!!Flanker2 wrote:With nothing found up to now, this is shaping up to become another MH370.
If the aircraft was in BRU just a few days ago, there is also a possibility that a bomb was installed in BRU and triggered later or set for a later explosion to keep people guessing.

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
 Departing from BRU this morning. Very smooth check in procedure in the temporary installations. Around 35 min all include (I have checked bagage ) from the entrance of the tent to the Connector. My impression is that the temporary installations are far from full capacity for the timing. The b...

Re: 2016 Antwerp airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news
The activity at ANR will be much lower from tomorrow with many SN flights already desappearing! I think that, in a few months from now, when "the dust will have settled", SN should do something special to thank both ANR and LGG for their help in taking good care of its pax during these aw...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
I understand that things have to change; however I do not get what has to be decided now that could not have been decided 10, 8 or 5 days ago, i.e. securing public transport! Are they going to send police to check every passenger when they step on the bus at each station? Or are buses to stop a km ...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
How can they operate an airport not allowing public transport? You can walk 20-25 minutes from/to Zaventem train station. I did that twice per day when working at Sabena. Excellent for your health. And give them also some time to arrange for the safety of the train/bus stations of the airport. The ...

Re: Re-opening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
I think FR and SN are in the same ship here: the "Operational nightmare - Brussels". Sorry, I have nothing against FR but I think their situation is totally different than SN . Why ? Because FR already operated from Charleroi (or Brussels South :) ) as main base in Belgium. So they only h...

Re: Re-opening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks
Just to understand ... BAC is speaking about 800 pax/hour or 20% of full capacity in the first phase of reopening. On the other hand the destruction of the departure hall has no impact on connecting pax or on pax with hand bagage only. So what percentage does 800 pax/hour represents in terms of pass...

Re: Terror attacks: explosions in the departure hall of Brussels Airport!
Probably way to late, but an idea I had to think of yesterday evening: I once had an FR flight from TSF to CRL that couldn't land in TSF because of the fog. The plane eventually landed in VCE. We boarded a bus on the tarmac that was then sealed and driven to the tarmac in VCE to board the FR flight...
