Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

Off topic of this incident Very useful post and not so off topic, me thinks. The former helipad has grass growing out of the joints between the concrete slabs, the Fokker 50's have been parked there for months, maybe a drop of oil here and there... and very wet, with the nosewheel at full 76° defle...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

As usual: better to not speculate, and wait for . Well I doubt there will much report published for such a minor incident. The TUI spokesperson certainly did not wait for an official analysis to comment on TV on the circumstances & causes and even a 'structural' contributing factor, the misleading ...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

Looks even worse in this view Ooookaaay, and what exactly is looking " worse "?? First of all, it's a minor mishap. Stupid, but minor. So can't really be 'worse', can it?? The pax, even with the minor inconvenience and the few hours delay, they can't really complain as they are by now in sunny Murc...

After a positioning flight from BRU, OO-JEM has just departed from ANR, replacing OO-TEA on the Malaga flight

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

Looks like they mistook the concrete strip towards the old helipad 1, for twy A. Because old H1 is a 'cul-de-sac', did they attempt to make a U-turn??

Re: Trivia 2019 (miscellaneous news)

Well, it is 'news' as in 'all over the place = journals', not as in 'news based on truth'. Was wondering if it would make TV news tonight, if the rest of the worldnews was a bit calm today... Anyway, back to aviation: I saw that done by D-FBAW You're sure you saw D-FBAW do that with the old twy A, s...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

TUIfly's OO-TEA operating TB2601 ANR- NDR (Nador), over mid-France returned and diverted to BRU (probably for technical support). An hour and a half later it re-positioned to ANR, so whatever reason for the 'RTB', it was fixed quickly.

Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2018

TUIFly's last flight of the year out of ANR, TB2061, diverted on New Year's Eve to Munich after 2 missed approaches at Innsbruck. Wondering if the return flight, which should normally be landing at ANR around 19:00, will get back in time before airfield closing(+extension) time... Edit: return fligh...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

so I am not aware of the exact ETOPS regulations neither am I, but pretty sure that ETOPS had nothing to do with it (only crossing the Med.sea). And OO-SFU, leaving Tunisian airspace, flew nicely along Sardinia and Corsica, so never more than about 100 miles away from a suitable diversion alternate...

even mid-flight, they had an altitude and ground speed of 0, so I'm pretty sure where OO-SFU is for the moment :D

If it were only **FlightGlobal**, it would be more or less OK, but it went **general public**! :-) The FlightGlobal audience knows how to put this in perspective; the general public however... already confirmed by the first HLN public comment. Luckily we don't have a SUN or Daily Mirror, otherwise ...

Of the 599 topics in the agreement, only a few are making the headlines. And 49 is the only one for now, where already conflicting interpretations are given by the parties concerned. And rest assured, the Greens won't be silent bystanders on this subject.
