Re: Spotting at Zaventem

With a moderate southwesterly wind tomorrow, 25L will most probably be in use for landings. This link gives the (flemish) bus company's route-planner from the airport to the nearest bus stop for runway 25L ('Erps Watertoren'): https://www.delijn.be/en/routeplanner/resultaten.html?from=Halte+Zaventem...

Re: 2018 Antwerp Airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news

Well, stop saying 'Antwerp Airport', OK !? The 'Antwerp Flanders International Airport' is offering again an air-side bus transfer between the terminal and the plane on rainy days. With VLM gone, the TUIFlys & the Stobarts manage most of the time to park in stand 113, which is about 2 bus-lengths aw...

Unless you have more information on this matter, linking a positioning flight to MPL with "also has ended flight ops ?" is very far fetched...
MPL has maintenance facilities, up to "D" check for the A320 (or similar).

The original Kiss&Fly zone is now staff only parking, with often 10 or more unused parking spots. They could reserve these for Belair clients, with very little investment and without interfering with the paying parking.

It certainly seems to be a serious (structural) engine issue which will negatively impact future operational availability & cost, so wise decision to dump them. But this specific engine problem seems to arise only after 1000-2000 hrs of operation, so it cannot be an explanation for the problems whic...

Often combined with DME, the AIP then calls it a DVOR.
at the risk of being pedantic, DVOR is a Doppler VOR (=higher precision)
