Re: Recognizing planes

I'm not very active as a spotter, so certainly not an expert. I would start with focusing on the nose, the tailcone; that's already enough to spot the difference between A32* family and B737. Nose difference between B777 & 787 is enough (or landing gear). For B787 & A350 wingtips and certainly the e...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

RNAV is the way to go. And you know what, an RNAV procedure used to exist (I should have quoted EBBU's post in full. Here it is again, now without any omissions :-)) The arrival procedure for 07L is an offset VOR/DME, with a last visual part. This is not available after sunset (07L has no approach l...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

If wind conditions remain as they are, the 07 runways will permute at sunset: 07R for arrivals, 07L for departures. What's the point of doing that? The arrival procedure for 07L is an offset VOR/DME, with a last visual part. This is not available after sunset (07L has no approach lights). ... That ...

TUIfly's OO-TEA is 'AOG' at ANR since yesterday after returning from INN(sbruck). Yesterday's ANR flight to TNG (Tangier) was replaced by a flight out of BRU. Today's ANR - RMU (Muricia) flight departed from CRL with OO-JEM. Starting with the Murcia return flight, OO-JEM took over the rest of the no...
