Re: Another serious onboard incident in the U.S., this time on American American AA-591 - a buggy incident
This is really sad :( This is what air travel has become for the common people... A constant battle between crew whether or not suffering from fatigue, not knowing what to stow where anymore and passengers also stressed out for numerous of reasons ... Although, I don't understand, why she was thinki...

Re: Lufthansa buys the remaining 55% of Brussels Airlines
If I see this right at the screenshot above of the seatplan, do they charge 10 euro, for those horrible seats at row 30 in the A320 ??

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
Let's say that there is a positive shift and that the trends are encouraging. With so few data publicly available, its really all one can say for sure indeed. Gustin and SN have shaved a lot in the past, so I don't see how they can shave another 15%, unless it's achieved through lower actual fuel p...

Re: Ryanair in 2013
Ryanair also confirmed the 6 aircraft allocated to this new Rome Fiumicino base will also offer daily business flights to Brussels (Zaventum) and Barcelona (El Prat). I would love to read the first passenger reviews of those business men( read eu-commission, etc...), we carry in b-flex, with 3 piec...

Re: brussels airlines to New York!
AFAIK SN's A330 fleet is ETOPS120/138 certified. The newer A330's that roll of out of the factory can be delivered with ETOPS240 (standard ETOPS180) ratings but SN's birds (very early ones) have to do with ETOPS120/138. Thank you Bralo20, I was just wondering because of high fuel prices and schedul...

I have a completely different question :
Which ETOPS-certification is SN going to have to start their JFK-operations during the first year ?

Did anyone already think about the consequences these triangular flights for example to Egypt will have on the current cla's for pilots and cabin crew ? Until now, these kind of duties are not performed on the MH-sector.

Re: Brussels Airlines' loadfactor
I cannot see, how increasing the seat numbers on the A319's is going to increase pax comfort, with only 2 lavatories available, especially on the TLV-flights. Queue of pax waiting in the aisle is already a big discomfort today, Imagine having a C or D seat during a night flight, with people constant...

Re: Business Class come-back on B.Air
Except OO-VET, I really have my doubts if a nowadays business clas traveller coming from long haul, is going to appreciate a B-air 737 seat/cabin lay-out...but still great news about the re-introduction of C-class !
