Re: Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX crashes between Addis Ababa and Nairobi - Impact on Boeing 737 MAX

Few weeks ago I posted : " Knowing that your next flight is with a 737 Max 8, can you cancel or change your flight without prejudice? The answer was : Off-course....not! Now I'll use a booking site that will tell me which kind of plane is to be used... and I will not book. What was said yesterday on...

Re: Belgian FIR quasi-closed during night 01-02/03

In this case, the ATC from Luxemburg, or Cologne, or Maastricht could not take over the traffic? It is just to bring the planes closed to Brussels and then the control tower takes over.
Share the radars signals and that's it.

Re: National strike in Belgium on 13 February 2019

CGN is also a good option for a short trip. Leave the car at P+R Weiden West (free parking) and buy a 2,90 Euros train ticket direct to CGN train station. DB is more realiable that SNCB.

For LUX, the Flibco bus service is great.

Re: National strike in Belgium on 13 February 2019

What's the point to have a "network", if you have to wait 7 days for your luggages, when strikes hit the airport unexpectivly, when airport closes for 24 hours due to energy problems, when trains are suddenly not running and so on...

Give me an airport I cannot reach from LUX?

Re: Ryanair cancels 2,100 flights in Sep-Oct 2017, and 18,000 more in Nov 2017-Mar 2018

Booked CGN/SXF with FR on 26/09 for end of December 2017. Flights were canceled on 27/09. Get the refund on 28/09...+ 2 vouchers of 40,00 Euros each. In 2015, booked BRU/TXL with SN. Flights were canceled by SN. Took 7 months to be refund and countless emails and phone calls. And no vouchers. All is...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

If a passenger can be dropped-off at the free drop-off zone, why cannot he be pick-up there ?

If not, what is the difference between the "FAST ZONE" and the P1 Front Park?

Must tell you that all this is very confusing....

Thank you for any answer...anyway

BRU is a nigtmare when it comes to drop or pick-up someone. Lots of stress. Confusing.
I experienced LUX last week. Easy access, easy parking, clean and calm airport.... and reached my final destination anyway. The perfect airport for me.

Re: EgyptAir A300 Cargo ignores ATC instructions and causes near collision with Air France A320 above Ghent

Quote from previous post:

Flight known as "city pairs" (typically CDG-AMS) do not cruise above FL240 to avoid Eurocontrol airspace.
Below FL 240 Belgocontrol is in charge, above, it's Eurocontrol.

Can someone explains why Eurocontrol airspace is to be avoid ?

Thank you.

Re: Colombia: crash LAMIA Bolivia LMI-2933 Avro RJ-85 near Medellin - 81 people onboard - 6 survivors?

From Brazil: Now 76 died. One of the four survivers died in the hospital. The plane was 17 years old. The ANAC (Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency), prohibited a direct flight from GRuarulhos to Medellin with LAMIA, due to commercial rights. (Chicago Treaty).
