2/6 JAF3198 Going around at CRL

Hello fellow aviation fans,

Yesterday, my parents came home from holiday on flight JAF3198 GCLP-EBCI
Suddenly, on final, the engines spooled up and there they went up again, GO AROUND!
Does anyone have a clue why they did go around? No announcements made after landing.

Greetings,

Marten

Re: Live flight tracking

Indeed, I noticed that there might be some incorrect flights showing up, but still, a nice piece of software aint it.

Re: JAF to HRG on 8/12

Ok you are correct Conti, my apologies. But I wanted to make clear that only JAF flight crews have the access to the EDS system to select the crewbriefings of their need. Those information is ment for the flight crew only and therefor a JAF crewmember has a login for the EDS system. Ofcourse those c...

Explain?

A login is only given to staff members of Jetairfly... Only those can access EDS to get the crewbriefings.

Re: BRU 13/11/09

Hello Kristof, I was at the airport yesterday sitting at the wingtips restaurant, and I saw the ET 767 standing at its gate, probably just after arrival and I saw a few mechanics checking out the right engine. I think something was wrong with the right engine because they had to open the cowl around...

That is possible, the flight yesterday was operated by the OO-JAP.

Re: Beautiful approaches

My favourites:

LPMA - Madeira (Lovely approach on the 05)
LOWI - Innsbruck (Straight through the mountains!)
ENTC - Tromsö (Beautiful approach through the mountains, covered with snow and surrounded with fjords!)

Re: 07/10/2009 diversions/delays at EBBR due to thunderstorms

sdbelgium is right, there is communication between the PIC and the Operation Department of the airline about the diversion, but the decision is to be made by the PIC. About the diversions, I know there are 5 alternates written down in the flightplan, but no idea how they are defined.

Re: Vraagje
