Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

I wouldn't be surprised to see SN and OS being up for sale in the not so distant future. The entire aviation world will change heavily and it remains to be seen how the Belgian government will react. Logically, given the importance of SN to the second biggest economic pool in Belgium, they would do...

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

To see the traffic of flightradar24 currently, we are far from confinement. And it's not just repatriation flights or cargo ... As we said in french...on n'est pas sorti de l'auberge ! Some airlines still operating sheculded flights, but it will decrease, from the next week ;), as more and more cou...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

I do not want to drive the point home ( enfoncer le clou in french )... but the chance makes that I had two reservations one on SN whose return flight from Africa was canceled a week ago and a transatlantic on Canada with AF from Brussels. The AF application regularly submits to me the possibilities...

Strange, do you think that there are more passengers who’s flight has been cancelled due to Corona, or might it be that you are the only one? Some patience in these harsh times for aviation, is that too much to ask?
Of course I'm not the only one ! I I only compare. Nothing more...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Sorry for those who take it wrong ... but two flights canceled. One at AF, settled in 24 hours ... flight moved to much later, and at SN ...Yes I still took an African flight with them...I await a response to a message left 5 days ago, the platform for moving a flight does not work ... and I don't e...

China has really outdone itself this time ... They should be at least held partly responsible for this worldwide economic damage

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

President Trump canceled travel from 26 European countries to the US for the next 30 days, beginning Friday at midnight. He tweeted the ban would apply to "people not goods" after stock futures tumbled on the prospect of a trade freeze. My comment : good luck finding enough full freighters to do th...

It is obvious that Trump is playing politics and I find it hard to see the EU not responding by banning the entry of American citizens and American companies for a month!

Condor still exists ? It's not LOT now ?
So LOT will launch DUS CUN and Eurowings ( Lufthansa ) will fly for LOT between Hanover and Dubrovnik. I'm correct ?

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

As I understood, SN would be seasonal and additional to AC SN will fly seasonal 5 times a week to YUL. AC will fly from both cities to BRU Thanks for the info! So basically SN will put extra capacity in summer time to YUL and AC replaces them on YYZ. That’s a lot of capacity, combined with Air Tran...

In any business the brand is the most important thing, this can only mean two things:

1. They are broke
2. A re-brand is planned
It would therefore be a state secret !

But remind you also that pax of JFK and IAD are different. We have now also an evening long haul wave to Africa, ME and Asia. An extra flight to the US can have extra transfer pax. Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

Of course there are a lot of connecting passengers on CDG-BRU, these flights are only bootable as connecting flights... But a significant portion of these passengers traveled from Brussels to Paris by FlixBus first because CDG-BRU-FIH is cheaper than BRU-FIH. Often the ones who check their bags in ...
