Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Does anyone know for sure if SN is legally (juridisch/juridiquement) separated (divorced) from EW ? Are they standing alone ? (as LH still leaves SN in limbo). Like other members rightly pointed out, it is not by shrinking that you solve the problem. Expanding in promissing/profitable markets is pa...

Re: Alitalia near bankruptcy. Can it be saved?

What now? (apart from the 13 December strike which reminds of the end of Sabena) There will be at least a time out till next week, when the Pope is back from Thailand and Japan. I can't imagine that the Italian government will have him stranded there. No worries, I am 99% sure Alitalia will still b...

Re: BRU Winter 2019-2020: news, new routes, airlines

Small balance ... BRU lost BOMBAY and SHANGHAI ... no novelty ... we do not hear about SFO ... probably nothing on the side of SN until 2022.
Am I negative or close to reality. ..?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Service on business is also reduced dramatically.. That was the case already a few months back... Problems is that business tickets within Europe can cost around EUR 1000. I think that it is scandalous that one needs to pay for water after having spent almost 600 EUR for a 50 min flight On flex&fas...

Tui will cooperate with Brussels Airlines as from next Summer season. For this Winter, Tui has enough capacity. But as from next Summer, TUI will need extra capacity as they intend to take over 80% of the clients of Thomas Cook. SN has this free capacity now That would be nice for everybody; TUI cl...

The Ryanair CEO is not very friendly about Norwegian. Here what he said about Norwegian : "They are now using the sale of planes to raise $ 50 million, which would not pay the fuel bill for a week.Norwegian is doomed, the business model is not working and they are now struggling with huge debts, it'...

It is the Germans who drive SN and not the narrow-minded spirit of any Belgian, right?

With friends like these you don't need enemies, do you? I am so stunned to see that, apparently, you cannot book a BRU-DSS on LH or LX that I would appreciate cross-check by others. If I didn't goof on that one, what could possibly be the explanation for mutty Lufty and brother LX not to propose th...

Given the quality of the carrier "house" at the airport and seen this new info, eventually the BRU airport will have as much attractiveness as Stuttgart, Lugano or Ljublana ... magnificent perspective!

SN277 to ACC is cancelled today. According to Flightstats.com, yesterday morning OO-SFW planned for this service was replaced by OO-SFK. Two hours later Kilo was replaced by Lima, soon to be swapped back to Kilo before the flight was cancelled. Indeed, yesterday OO-SFK left DUS for EWR with a delay...

Today it looks it's the turn of Douala to be cancelled?! Looks like more than 10% of the long haul flights of this summer where cancelled!(I can not prove that but it's approximately true I think) It's time to do something ....
