It has been tested several times, though.
But indeed, never actually put in service.

Re: BAC makes 30 unhappy airlines (Aviapartner ousting)
Here is a flemish article from de standaard: http://www.standaard.be/artikel/detail.aspx?artikelid=DMF20110910_023 So 30 unhappy airlines wrote a letter to TBAC to ask them to review their decision about the new licences for handling. The airlines want TBAC to give back the licence to Aviapartner is...

Re: Aviapartner might loose handling license at BRU to Swiss
Complete liberalisation? Not going to happen.
Also, no appeal was lodged against the decision of the Tribunal of Commerce (so far).
Not by Swissport and not by TBAC.

Re: Brussels Airport is a disaster when it freezes and snows
Today we had to cancel all our cargo flights because the workers just couldn't move the vehicles on the 900 stands. It was impossible to un/load an aircraft because they (BAC) still didn't take away the snow & ice... After some phonecalls they sent sent some crew over to start 'deicing' the stan...

Re: Brussels Airport is a disaster when it freezes and snows
There are more then 2 deicing trucks, i can assure you. The way they are being used, however, is not the best. The handlers work with 'sequences' meaning that who calls for deicing first, will be served first. This way they create a waitinglist, but not according to the STD. Deicing is always forese...

I think we should not underestimate the job
of an ATC! It must be very stressy sometimes
and doing this 25 days in a row? NOT ok.
An action was needed.

Re: Infrastructure of Brussels Airport
It's not a stupid solution... If the Western expansion of the A-concourse will become true it would actually become very convenient for Brussels Airlines in case of their transfer activities between euro and non-euro destinations. And that extension if roughly an expanded, permanent T-zone... Aha! ...

Re: Infrastructure of Brussels Airport
Hm I don't think they will change it into a normal terminal, IF it doesn't work. At this time there is no need for extra capacity but who knows what the future brings us. I don't know what made them decide to redecorate the 'satelliet' but I do know this is not a temporary solution. Looks like they ...

flight NE3677 delayed with 7 hours
Seems Sky Europe has some problems in Vienna. They can't fly the NE3676-3677 flight from there. So now they have to fly from Bratislava! Move all the pax to BTS with busses en then fly to BRU. The plane should arrive here around 00h45z and leave again (to BTS) around 01h15z. So this will be an 7-hou...

Re: Flight of AS Rome Soccer Team to Belgium on 05/08/2009
They will pass through the regular passenger terminal
for the returnflight. (They booked 3 check-in counters)
There will be approx 75 pax so i guess there's a lot of
staff travelling along.
