Re: Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX crashes between Addis Ababa and Nairobi - Impact on Boeing 737 MAX

I don't understand how Boeing's chief engineering office has validated this envelope protection system with only 2 AOA sensor's relying on one input to validate exceedance. At contrario, Airbus is using three sensors which required correlation between two of them to validate inputs to Flight control...

Funny thing, you know I have been on this forum for a decade I guess now, but there is a thing that does not change....
If discussion is on a walloon topic and if passenger is posting something, ...i know it's bad news for us (walloon)...I don't critisize, it's just observation.

Thanks

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

Remember that in 2001 an Air Transat A330 successfully landed at the Azores after both engines ran out of fuel. Thus it was maybe not a bad decision to continue to Brussels with both engines running normally. They have been very lucky indeed, since the captain opened the crossfeed valve during flig...

Air France, where the pilots salary is function of the speed and weight of the A/C (authentic).
A bit simplistic!
In many airlines, pilots earn more if the fly bigger aircraft.
Yes true, but AF is the only one incorporating the speed factor, brought by the"Concorde"...

French military may be....Air France was operating a lot of cargo flight for them, they just have 2 777F nowadays ( I think), so capacity to support deployment abroad is quite limited.
