Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Anyone knows what OO-SFE is doing in Amman?

Yesterday and today OO-SFE had several short flights (?). I thought it was only there for a cabin refit. Or are there also technical issues with the bird?

See: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/oo-sfe

Cheers,

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

The reason why OS is more of a network airline is not of its intercontinental network (they have more or less the same number of long haul aircraft as SN) but are the many connections to eastern european destinations (70+% of pax is transfer traffic). If you look at their route map you hardly see an...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Also, I read somewhere that they want to have 5 planes with the new interior by August. So that would mean they have to accelerate the process a bit and have one of the next months (June or July) two planes done in one month. I thought they said 5 planes with premium economy installed by August, SF...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Hi all, Does anyone know how long installing the new cabin takes. The first one - SDF - took much longer than expected (for various reasons I guess), but normally it would take not more than one month, correct? I guess first SFY will go since it was foreseen to let it go in April, but was extended a...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Hi all, I was recently on an SN flight to YYZ on one of their A332. I was in business class and I was surprised only 11 from the XX (32?) seats were taken. The service is (as usual) quite good, but the business class itself is worn out, especially the litlle tables do not work wel anymore (they know...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

If you look at https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels you'll see that OO-SFU will leave the fleet also, but only in one year (March 2020) ... So for the time being it will be still at 10 planes from then onwards ... unless some of the A330 additional aircraft planned by LH are for SN (s...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Question,

Will OO-SFF be with the new cabin outfit when it joins the fleet in June, or will it start flying and then be transformed at a later stage?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Business class seems the same as the business class in LX (B777).

I just was on one of their flights in business to SIN and I recognize many of the details

Will check when taking a SN flight to Washington in May if it has the new interior of course :D

Re: Flybmi ceases operations

What could this mean for LH and SN flights?

I recently noticed that Adria Airways and Air Dolomiti are doing more and more 'regional' flights for LH (e.g. often the flight MUC-BRU is with the latter).

Would we see them also flying for SN?

Re: Brussels Airlines' monthly traffic figures

We really miss the official SN figures. :( You asked for it, you get it! In 2018, SN operated 80,505 flights and transported 10,026,241 passengers, sorry, guests. That is a new record and an increase of 10.5% over 2017 (+9.7% on the European network, +16.9% on the African network, +6.0% on the Nort...

As per the same https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels one is in mainten...
