And besides Rackham that sits in the background, the aircraft (OO-SSS?) from which the video was taken seems to have been well soaked as well.

Another example of a German enterprise successfully adding a touch of Belgian identity.

I'm used to the inimitable chainsaw sound and just wondered what is this Piaggio that visits EBBR once in a while.

Seen its reg it must be a frenchie with some sense of humour.

Re: Boeing 737 (MAX) news

TUI NL will do a second attempt on Sunday to ferry PH-TFO (737 MAX 8) from Sofia to Amsterdam. I got this information: " PH-TFO will fly flaps 1 and max 250 kts to avoid activation of the MCAS. Cruising alt will be FL230, and a fuel stop is planned in Cagliari". Interesting routing for sure : SOF-C...

Re: RUNWAY CLOSED! Landing A319 on Taxiway! (Brussels Airlines)

Thank you for this nice video. I jumped on it because this is a hot subject for me. Too often a crew is mislead into landing on the wrong runway, or on a parallel taxiway. Lufties at KTW on new RWY being build, AF at Casablanca, Seattle, Pisa, .... happens way too often by lack of appropriate markin...

SN467 BRU-KGL-EBB-BRU is not operated today. Instead there is an SN489 BRU-NBO-EBB-BRU, operated by SFX that just took off at 10:50. HRYR/KGL is open for business and KLM flies in today so why has SN replaced the KGL stopover with NBO? Same planned for next Monday 29APR. Anybody knows the reason? Th...

Dear mvg, I note in your long post above Quote : Here an Atco can work almost like he wants! With no consequence, he/she can give a plane a straight-in approach or give him 20 extra miles because he/she feels like, because he/she is not competent, because he/she is scared, and so on... Kigali 1994-04-07

Please allow me to post this here. If one needs to link this to aviation let’s say that para-commandos often “go to work” by air. During one of my last trips to Kigali, I paid a visit to the place where 10 Belgian soldiers were slaughtered 25 years ago to the day and I wrote in the condolences book ...

They are running the 73 at +50 a month. By compiling the data from Boeing site it appears that the MAX now represents the bul...

No, they can still vacate via C2 as the SN below did minutes ago. About 1200m from TD. Screenshot 2019-03-31 11.21.10.png Screenshot 2019-03-31 11.44.02.png Alternately, use C3 for a safety belt check. Not sure you could vacate via C1 as you'd need to use TWY V1 which is only 20m wide. H.A.

Does anyone know why so many planes are parked in this area? Doesn't seem like it's a temporary parking space. Clearly the Finair and Baltic are moving passengers. I'd the airport so busy this morning or something? Thanks When I flew back from ZRH last week, we were parked on Apron 60 as well. Then...
