Lufthansa to create a new unit to operate to tourist destinations, both short- and long-haul. The code name of the project is ‘Ocean’.

In competition with Eurowings?
Project Ocean was already mentioned by the Propaganda Abteilung on the "Brussels Airlines in 2020" back in April.

GVA 03/07/2020

Was at LSGG last week. Hereunder are some pics I took on Friday 03JUL. Traffic is of course much reduced and G.A. makes an important part of it. Commercial is mainly LX and U2/DS. Last week GVA had about 40-50 passenger flights per day, using only the frontal - contact - gates. Satellites are not us...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Indeed numerous African countries closed their borders on March 14 at the same time the Belgian government was considering taking measures. This combined with several measure...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

Thanks again KriVa.

Yes I had seen the APP plate for 07L RNP published last week, now I understand why as you said.

Why then is the VOR/DME HJ only as you vector them until they get the RWY in sight after SS. How is that different from flying the VOR (when not u/s).
Thanks.

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

... RWY07L is HJ only... It's not. The VOR/DME approach on RWY 07L is HJ only. SRAs and visual approaches can still be flown after sunset. Though a visual at night is less than common practice, an SRA (at BRU) happens even less often. It's good practice for both the ATCOs and the pilots in question...

Just brief news on Reuters, no reason why. Heinz Hermann Thiele will vote for the proposal. What did he get in return? Such people don't change minds without a good reason. Did Thiele really changed his mind? One week ago LHAG share traded at 10.50, today closed at 8.96. Rumours about possible reje...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

Shall they re-open RWY 01 tonight? RWY07L is HJ only and the forecast is for easterly winds, possibly exceeding the 07kt max tailwind. Yesterday I noticed a late arrival overhead, on 07L. SN3772 landing at 2038, SS+38. Next to come in used 25R but with 2-3kts tailwind only. OO-SSW 20200623H2038.png ...
