Re: SN and its air fare classes (Y, K, L, ...)

Hi, Yes I know the feeling, having lost M&M status 6-7 years ago for reaching 99 875 miles only (while they forgot a BRU-JFK and another long haul flight that I was too late to report) Here is what I do : After selecting your flights, you hit the Continue button. Then be real quick to notice ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

So today was the 7th of November and it seems nobody brought this date up.

O tempora o mores in a way but on the other hand it is probably good altogether to have turned the page.
High time if one wants to live the current chapter .... while it is still open.

Heard a couple of weeks ago that the new A330 cabin will be presented on 30NOV.

Anybody confirms?
Factual news have more weight than words to me.

OO-SFE is prepared for action! DSC00333.JPG To me, this looks more like OO-SFE is prepared for a (temporary?) storage... Or am I wrong? Best regards, Duje You mean because of the cabin windows being tapped? As well as the flight deck window N°3. OO-SFE.JPG BTW, isn't it the first time at SN that th...

About that flight to Noumea, it might be related to this event on Sunday: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/nov/01/new-caledonias-independence-referendum-what-you-need-to-know HI, It is totally linked. ABA should take off from Nouméa on Tuesday morning, local time. When the French Prime Minist...

Some interesting reading, but also some emerging questions: https://investor-relations.lufthansagroup.com/en/finanzberichte/annual-report/2017.html .... 3) On page 18 of the presentation BRU is said to have 52 planes in summer 2018, the same as in summer 2017. .... Re: 25-26-27-28/10/2018 Aviapartner strike at Brussels Airport

Maybe time to have a look at the global picture. According to ASA, Airport Services Association, the global ground handling market is estimated to be over $60 billion. €70-90 billion according to a 2016 study to DG MOVE European Commission. In a world where cash money is plenty and return is low fro...

I had heard that SFM is the second to leave (anybody a date for her last flight?) after SFN, and then SFO. I'm flying SFO this morning and it may be one of the last time I'll fly on board this old lady. H.A. PS : Rather unusual low numbers for AFI flights this morning at Check-in. Passport control a...

Re: Belgian Air Force F16 burned out at EBFS Florennes

Seems to have happened on Apron Golf. "Vador" is usually parked in the shelter next to it, on the left hand side of the video. This is pre-flight area usually with possibly some light intervention but no "maintenance". Something went wrong of course but the French "open fire" is kind of a stretch :r...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

It’s just the A32F - F = family exactly thees what i meant to say Luchtzak ;) so hold your horses... it’s no sign of a possible A321 coming to Brussels, and the VLM A321 has their own trained crew Agreed and she was more amused than worried or enthusiastic; she had just noticed that recently the A3...

Chatting with a CCM on a Kigali flight recently.
She said surprised that her qual 330/319-320 has been extended to the A321.

Anything in this announcing a bright future?

According to the Air Niugini Press Statement it was not an overshoot. Not that it makes much difference though, they ended up in the drink anyhow, but they landed short of the runway. air_niugini_statement.jpg Approach over sea or flat, featureless terrain can be tricky if no PAPI is available. Re: Lufthansa in 2018

Lufthansa aims to grow further in Italy with an investment of €100 million into Air Dolomiti, including doubling the fleet to 20 E195s, along with new bases and routes. How about Belgium? I suppose Air Dolomiti make loads of money while Brussels Airlines is not. Remember what Kayser Sphor said : No...

I don't now if it's a stupid question, but can we split the threat in two .
The planes for Brussels Airlines and another one for Eurowings?
To merge the topics again in a no so distant future ?
