An extra transit in BRU would not make sense for pax, certainly combined with long-haul flights. I have read in one other topic and in Airliner World that British Airways is planning to open transatlantic connection from Brussels. In this case, the hub in Brussels would be logic to optimize of seat...

As to the African network, I don't understand why SN is not copying the British Airways (BA) initiative which is to use A321ER aircraft with Business class sleeper seats and a regular economy cabin on the London-Dakar route. Why isn't SN considering to use the same aircraft on shorter African desti...

I remember that in 2000 SQ was flying Brussels - Zurich - Singapour ...

It would be a very good news if SQ decides to come back to Brussels ... For my experience, the services and the planes are top and it's really a pleasure to fly with them !

It's more expensive to support a heterogeneous fleet than a homogenous one. For AF, KLM, LH, SAS, IB the company size is bigger and they can manage many different planes because the technical teams are bigger than SN. Following the example of Southwest, to fly with the same airplane is decreasing th...

F100 ? I believe that Fokker was declared in bankruptcy in 1996 ? Is Fokker reappearing like the Phoenix ? Nevertheless the F100 is very comfortable and quiet and it would be a good idea but I think that its capacity is not what SN would be looking for in the future. I think that 120 to 150 seats is...

If case of the replacement of Avro and B737 ... I think that they are going to choose Airbus because with the long haul fleet adding to the 3 A319, it would be less expensive to fly with a homogeneous fleet

Yes it would be a nice decision as well as they will be able to have a homogeneous fleet with bigger versions (190/195 ...)

Which planes to replace SN Avro and BAe?

Hi,

I wonder which would be the best choice for SN when they are going to change its fleet of BAe and Avro ?

For me, I think that the Embraer family would be a good choice ...

Ok there are already Asian partners but I was thinking about an alliance like Northwest and KLM on the north Atlantic !

Why they don't find about this kind of alliance. With Hainan and Etihad it is for me a point to point alliance but it is not really hub to hub connexion. May be with Jet Airways ?

Why Brussels Airlines isn't looking for an Asian partner ?

Hello It's my first new topic and perhaps I make a mistake and in this case accept my apologizes I want to know why Brussels Airlines is not looking for an Asian partners. With its european network BA and the African connexion would provide a interressant hub for a Asian airline and in the other sid...
