Re: BRU Winter 2018-19: news, new routes, airlines

I can't seem to find any flights coming winter on the leg BRU - SZG. Does anybody know if they're not yet loaded in the systems, or won't there be any flights?

Re: BRU infrastructure: future

- the shops: are they really needed? They are always empty, I honestly don’t understand how they can be profitable. Do you have to force people to walk through the shops? I use BRU 50 times a year and have never seen an arriving passenger entering a shop. You would be surprised...They often seem em...

Re: BRU infrastructure: future

Does anybody know what they are doing at the drop off area ? The 'new' drop off area is now completely destroyed and major works are being done, also in the area next to the tent. How will the new situation look like? There's 0 communication about this from BAC! Optimisation of the drop off area, s...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation

Brussels does indeed need a business airport not too far away. However, for cargo flights, what does it matter where packages arrive exactly? In a densely populated area some compromises are necessary. The same applies to flights for holiday destinations. People from Brussels will happily travel a ...

Took of a few minutes ago:

KLM B737-700, PH-BGM, BRU-AMS
Yesterday, they operated the 'noon' flight to AMS with 737 too.

So, instead of complaining on here about the elevators... Why don't you send a mail to Interparking, and maybe things get changed.

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

I do not mind the tent by itself as a temporary building but getting this on road useless inspection (lost 10 minutes late morning at 11:00!) + queuing before the pre-check (5 minutes) is really a lost of time and create a feeling of insecurity. Next booking will be DUS again :-( even if I feel bad...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

I'm in Brussels Airport to take my flight and I was surprised that the tents are still there!!!! It's horrible looks like third world country... If these checks stay's they have to do it properly with a good infrastructure. Do you really think that implementing new security technology can happen in...

Hello everybody, FR24 shows a fire truck active as "FIRE507" at BRUcargo since a moment. Is it waiting an emergency landing or inspecting a parked aircraft :?: All vehicles such as fire trucks, winter ops, AI, BCU,... operating in the manoeuvering area are equipped with transponders now, ...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

That 'tower' they need to climb to reach the connector is 2, yes TWO levels! Please, don't exaggerate! Yes, it's a longer walk, yes, it's uncomfortable, no it's not a normal situation. If you all can do better: please, come and offer your services. And yes: my opinion about the pre check in, the sec...

PRM have a separate pass through, a few meters before the 'regular' exit. They are going through security checks on ground level, than can take an elevator to Connector.

Yes lumumba, and if you call SN they'll reply the same as KL... You mix a general advice with a personal one. I guess if you look long enough for a reason, you will always find a reason to 'prove' your point... Not at all I realy hope they tell me the same at Brussels Airlines today . But no,I call...

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

I'm not asking for entry checks either. If it needs to be done at the airport, then the list of 'to be protected areas' will become very long... trainstations, concerts, fancy fairs, football games, cinema's, ..... Shifting the problem is not the solution. And what about our freedom? I don't want to...

Tompompier, please share your view and if its hard its hard. Its a forum to discuss, if everybody agrees, its boring. My view... well my humble opinion is: there's a lot of would be airline/airport/company managers on here, who think that the rebuilding of this airport terminal is just like rebuild...
