Re: Trip report: BRU - ALC - BRU on JAF and RYR

It's also the first time I heard of having to collect your luggage yourself. I called Swissport three times to check if this was correct. Three different staff members gave me the same information... As I work for the NMBS/SNCB, it didn't cost me anything, so no need for a claim, fortunately. Sean, ...

Trip report: BRU - ALC - BRU on JAF and RYR

Hi all, Not the most exciting route, and very well-known airlines for us. But I decided to post this report to compare both airline's services. This was a rock climbing trip to the Costa Blanca. We were carrying a lot of climbing gear, each bag weighed 20kg. Also, we had a clipstick with us, approxi...

Indeed, the 744 of Asiana in new colours looks really fantastic. Much better than the old boring colours.
And the Cargo B, there wasn't a lot of activity around the aircraft... But really nice livery also...

It's not the first time I saw the Dragon Air at the Brucargo ramp, is it doing charters?

I also saw an A319 of S7 in the new (great) coulourscheme on apron 4 around 17.00. Anybody some information about this one?

Great news!!! Indeed great to see them expand to the east, but why not a little bit faster? Cities like Riga, Tallinn might work i think. Or maybe a little risk and serving Odessa, Kishinev once a week?

Anyway, good work SN!

Why not try to approach ET and cooperate with them
SN's got enough codeshare's already
I think working together with ET is not such a bad idea, allthough I don't see this happening.

Everybody is talking about changing everything again, but i'm wondering (i don't know a much about this matter): - how mch will this cost (marketing, publicity,...) - how will the passengers react on that? Won't they got more confused about again a new concept? I mean, once you fly it, you get it, r...

I hope their plan will succeed.

One question though, will the new company operate the B767? And Luchtvaartnieuws writes "Boeing 767’s". I thought they only had one...

About the rumour of the new hotel, i heard the same today at work. So there must be something about it. Let's hope that the rumour about the fast and huge expansion of Jet's operations in BRU is true. On the other hand, i'm wondering what will happen to Brussels Airlines? A take-over by 9W like rumo...

Probalby no one of us knows how to operate a hub for a European airline in an African country. Let's hope b.air does. But if AF has not done it yet, there must be a reason. Well i think AF hasn't done it yet because they have the long haul fleet to operate from CDG. SN has some spare RJ's, so bette...

Reason for the diversion was fog (Source: Scramble)
Strange... I arrived at the airport around 06.00. There was some fog, but it was really not that bad.
