Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Brussels Airlines indicated this Saturday morning that it still plans to resume some of its flights on May 15. " It goes without saying that we are monitoring the situation very, very closely. At this stage, we are still betting on May 15. In the coming days, we will see if this date is still reali...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

maybe during the crisis, but after I think it's a good idea to focus on Africa. Globaly, demand will be decreasing because the business will need some time to recover. Of course some people travel to Africa for business purpose but the majority of the PAX on african flight are traveling for family ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

No newspaper anymore on long haul flights in Business with Brussels airlines. I find this completely outrageous and unacceptable!!!! With Lufthansa you can download your newspaper but you still have your papers on the plane in fact I never traveled on long haul in Business with an airline not offer...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Today, you can compare SN with easyJet .. and it doesn’t
Look good in comparison.. overpriced and increasingly inferior service.. LY is definitely the best option to TLV.
Problem is that they don’t fly on Shabbat.
Like A3 is a better option to Athens..

Re: Lufthansa in 2019

United Airlines (my own FF) is doing the same... status linked to USD spent and no more on flown miles. Unless they introduce # of sectors to qualify Senator like they do for frequent traveler, many of their premium pax will loose their status.. and most probably their loyalty to M&M and star allia...

Hi, Just think of ... they decide that Belgium is the perfect symbiose of French and dutch speakers.. and AF/KLM set up a small child of them here ,let's call it Air Brussel.... A bunch of embraers and B737 ... And a morning A333 for a nice connection in AMS... Or Emirates , Norwegian to JFK-BOS......

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

what's another 3 euro for water, if you can afford 600 euro for a very short flight It’s like going to a coffee house, paying paying EUR 15 For a regular (almost mediocre) espresso.. and still being charged 1 EUR for sugar and another for milk! Not a good feeling! It is all about the principle.. In...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Service on business is also reduced dramatically.. That was the case already a few months back... Problems is that business tickets within Europe can cost around EUR 1000. I think that it is scandalous that one needs to pay for water after having spent almost 600 EUR for a 50 min flight On flex&fas...

Btw speedy boarding on easyjet is actually better and cheaper. 1. Easyjet .. cancellation and full refund of ticket is possible up to 24 hours after booking. 2. Change of reservation and name is possible against a small fee.. up to hours before departure 3. Speedy boarding includes priority boarding...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I flew on 25/10 F&F with complimentary service. The flight attendant told me the compl. serv. would stop on 31/10. My next F&F flight was on 5/11 and indeed no more drinks for free. Don’t think it is the smartest decision. Not for the little cost itself but as a service for their customers who paid...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

For me the most catastrophic fact for this summer 2019, is not the dispatch reliability (which is at the average level of the other years, even slightly improving) but the horrific PUNCTUALITY figures. I'm not sure that operationally speaking, mixing both the main line operations and the charter op...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

! I never understood that travelers transit through ADD Well, someone traveling from/to Africa might have different expectations than what we’re used to in Europe. That it is the poorest continent reflects on all kinds of services. Service on ET intra-africa is equal if not better than most Europea...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

I'm not sure boring is the right term. Repitive covers it better, I guess. And they have to stay focused since everybody who entered but wasn't supposed to can be traced back to the officer who let him in. And all that with hundreds or even more people queuing and being pissed off (understandably) ...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

Why don't federal "policemen" like to work at BRU ? The answer to this question is crucial to solve the problem. A simple (simplistic) solution to the problem is money. They will love to work at BRU if they are paid more (for instance, through bonuses). There is no money you will say. OK, the let's...
