Heliport Willebroek
Good Afternoon, I have some questions about two heliports in my neighbourhood. EBWH - This is a new Heliport located near the A12 in Willebroek. Can somebody tell me which frequency is in use for communication? EBWK - This is a heliport in the neighbourhood of Tisselt / Kapelle-op-den-bos. If I'm no...

No more LH A380 between FRA and SIN?
Hello all, I was just checking my trip at checkmytrip.com and saw that SIN - FRA LH779 on april 9 has been downgraded from A380 to B747. Anyone know why? I prefered the A380 because of the new and modern interior. I remember flying PEK-BRU on LH B747 a few years ago and it had no IFE in coach. Is th...

Besides of some rarerities as Mahan Air, Biman and similar "no no's" , I have only seen those very low business class tickets at certain times, to some destinations with Turkish. And Egypt Air but their Business Class product is not exactly as good as that of the well known Middle Eastern...

Re: Etihad Airways, Brussels call center
I had a very good experience with the Etihad call center. Just called them regarding my reservation to BKK. I didn't chose seats during the booking process because there were no window seats available on all of the 4 legs. Also, me and my gf would like to sit next to eachother, which turned out to b...

Re: BIMAN delay at BRU
Thanks for info, as Biman was written in capitals in the title I thought it was something like a special flight, not a company. Wasn't aware that Biman was the name of a company. If you read the other replies it all refers to some strange events of the days that Biman used Brussels as a fuel stop o...

Re: Plane escorted into BRU by 4 fighters
On a side note: This topic was also mentioned in yesterdays StuBru program "One Night Stand" (23h pm - 01h am). A caller asked if somebody knew whose "Jumbojet" had flown into BRU being escorted by 4 fighter planes. It took a while before the right answer came up. Some redcap cal...

Re: SN flights to Paris CDG
This flight is aimed at long haul pax connecting to/from AFI and India (on 9W) Yesterday I was searching for a ticket EWR-BRU when all of a sudden EWR-CDG-BRU appeared on my screen. This is on Continental with CDG-BRU operated by SN. I am now booked in booking class L (dirt cheap). Apparently the C...

Re: 100% match reclaim and luggage tag
In China this is standard procedure. I've been travelling to and between PEK, SHA, PVG, HKG numerous times but can't remember additional checks. Did you experience this before or after the Olympics? Perhaps it's not done all day long? I am really fed up about all those checks Please, no more extra ...

Re: Miles & More, new to the whole thing
Hey Fretn,
Since you are flying a OneWorld airline, you will not get any miles in your Miles and More account.
If you fly AA/OW regulary, you can always sign up with one of their loyality programs.
Greetz,
Flanders.

Re: The one and only which runway in use @ EBBR-topic
Expected weather tomorrow: average to powerful NW winds with gusts up to 50-60 km/h. Any idea what runway will be in use for landing and take-off?
Might consider going to BRU to test my new EF-S 55-250mm lens
Thanks and greetz,
Flanders.
