Great report! Thanks for sharing! But those seats (ouch my eyes!) :) And a very strong aroma, I can tell you. I read in a blog that they used to carry shrimp to HKG and to clean the cargo hold before coming to Europe because the stench was very foul. Crew was nice and they were in the mood for this...

Easyjet does internal flights Madeira-Lisbon, and a few routes to the UK, some ex-GB Airways though those have been cut step by step (LGW).

Indeed, a well-written trip report with many excellent photographs :)! The plane with the red tail standing next to the airbus A319 operated by Easyjet is a Boeing 737-800 operatig for the Egyptian carrier Midwest Airlines. The company isn't seen regularly in Western Europe. I think you can compary...
