Topic: B767 for Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium?

Maybe it's a good idea for thomas cook and brussels airlines to work together on this. With only some ( I think three) long haul destinations for FQ the plane will be a lot on the ground in BRU, and SN could use it for example DKR and TLV-fllights. In the early days the same thing happened with Sabe...

Wow fleet expansion on both networks (Europe and Africa). I think the management at B.air is getting out of their 'wintersleep''.

Looking forward to see the new planes already...

Yeah it's gonna be tough for the other airline's too, because many people over there are ready to pay extra for the safety. Yes I think people of Congo will be happy to board a safe aircraft with good connections to europe. Feeding the FIH-BRU flights with the local airline results in a better load...

Re: b.air forced to lease MD-83 from flightline!

Commercial reasons = sell b.light meals and explain to b.flex passengers why they only get 15 gr. of cold pasta with 3 peas and no champagne ?

I hope Flightline has Indian crews like Jet Airways !

It depends on the demand, so it varies between the 734, 738 and sometimes even the 763. If you are lucky you have a delay like we had two years ago and spend a couple of hours at BRU apt to spot some nices planes of other airlines... :? And if you are really lucky :x after five hours waiting, you c...

JAFflyer wrote:Sobelair used to fly there too...
It was Sobelair's metal 767 but sub-chartered for Sabena flights. It used to be a full standard Sabena flight. Flightcrew was SLR but Cabin crew was Sabena.
Just for info that there was never a Sobelair charter flight to TLV.

Where did you find info about that fact? If you take a look at their important african network it seems very clear to me that they would choose for oneworld because of their AA codeshare. Also on the long haul, British Airways serves other routes on the african continent. Let's hope they can/may joi...

For me the big flex advantage is the 'fast lane' at Bru Airport and the fact that my flex ticket is fully refoundable and that there is always the possibility to change from flight in the same day. Also more luggage can be taken in board. ( taking into account that this is only a economy ticket) The...

The concerned pilot which was an active unionist. Is now finished and tackled by his old employer SNBA. It is a fact that SNBA said the things straight to Netjets about the background of this candidate. I don't think telling the truth is a professional mistake . It surprises me that sn took him back...

Good news for Brussels Airlines!!

On this flight BruA still has the Business and Economy class concept foreseen (not the b.flex/b.light). So they can make money on this route.

I disapprove the way jetair communicates. They keep their passengers in a state of uncertainty and they give poor info and very poor solutions ( read 'no' solutions). An incident can occur with every airline/touroperator but the way you deal with those situations distinguishes oneself. Jetair clearl...

A source close to JAF told me there are going to add one 737-800 and a 757 to their fleet. There are planning to recruit 100 employees (without any experience of course...) and they wan't to work with temporary studentcontratcs during peak seasons.

SN made it clear in their press conference that they are looking for a fourth plane for the long haul fleet. So please wait until they find one at a reasonable price. They are aware of the weak situation with 3 planes But this time it's a blunder from the groundhandling. So please blame them for the...

Maybe it's only a rumour but several VEX people tell me they already saw new "safety cards" for their 737 with the name.........BRUSSELS AIRLINES printed on it!
This would just confirm the previous message but once again it can also be one's imagination
