Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015

Waw was unaware it was that bad - the captain mentioned that the main cause of the delay was that the fuel company DID NOT want to put fuel in the plane for 2 hours ... Anyone knows why that would be? I do understand that ramp operations have to be stopped in case if thunderstorms- but other planes ...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015

Am in MXP as we speak - the excuse here is thunderstorms. They put us in the bus and then after 15 minutes unloaded the bus ... New estimated departure time 16h20. I think we will be lucky if we are out of here by 5pm.

Re: How to find upgradable tickets to US?

You do have to be careful - last year a booked an upgradable ticket for a flight to IAD operated by SN with a UA flight number and they did not allow for an upgrade as "you have to have a ticket of the airline operating the flight to be able to upgrade." or so I was told. Meaning you need ...

Re: Brussels Airlines : pilots strike looming

the only thing I do know: if this will be the "new (old) trend" at SN, LH will withdraw faster than some might imagine … if it is a one-off event, ok, that might still be accepted, but anything more will be the end for the LH "partnership" with SN, LH does not need SN at all, I ...

Re: Pier A/T or Pier B ?

Departure flight to Douala/Yaoundé was linked with arrival flight coming from Washington. When flight from Washington arrives at Concourse B at 1210LT there will be not enough time to tow the aircraft to T zone for a departure of 1435LT. Therefore departure is foreseen at concourse B. ;) Well I arr...

Re: Brussels Airlines' second US destination

Well I was on the flight in Y and I can tell you we were far from 80%. If I had to make a guesstimate I would say not even 50%, but then again I have never been good at estimating load factors.
