The planes will be based at Cazaux in France. The BAF and FAF will work together for the training of new pilots. At the longer end Belgium is expected to join a larger collaboration, called the European Training School.

F16 crash in the Netherlands

According to press sources a F-16 crashed this morning at Vlieland (one of the Wadden Islands).

At this moment it is unclear whether or not the pilot/crew survived the crash. It is also unclear if the crashed plane is from the Dutch Air Force.

Airbus expects an order for 40 single aisle to be announced tomorrow morning. Also expected is an order "from a European airline".

At this very moment an order is announced by Airbus and TAM for 8 A350's and 7 more options.
