Skywings Flight Training has opened a new campus extension inside the terminal building at Antwerp Airport (Deurne), adding three modern classrooms and a dedicated break room. The expansion reflects the flight school’s strong growth in recent years, particularly since it began training student pilots directly for Brussels Airlines.
Located in the heart of the airport, the new facilities offer views of the apron and runway, closely linking theoretical instruction with daily flight operations. The classrooms will be used for regular airline pilot theory training and will also host monthly official pilot theory examinations on behalf of aviation authorities, reinforcing Skywings’ role as a key training partner in European aviation.
Skywings CEO Pieter Brantegem said the move highlights the strategic importance of Antwerp Airport in educating future Belgian airline pilots. With this investment, Skywings continues to strengthen its focus on high-quality training, modern infrastructure, and a long-term presence at Antwerp Airport.
