Everdrone has secured SEK 36 million (EUR 3.34 million) in new funding to accelerate the commercial rollout of its autonomous drone services for emergency healthcare.
The company, which already operates the world’s first integrated drone service for cardiac arrest response in Västra Götaland Region, plans to use the investment to validate its technology, strengthen system integration, and expand into new European markets.
Everdrone’s drones are designed for time-critical interventions, delivering defibrillators and other medical equipment directly to emergency scenes while ambulances are still en route—helping reduce response times and improve survival outcomes.
The service has been operational since 2020 and is now active or procured in multiple regions, including Region Stockholm and Normandy, reflecting growing demand for drone-assisted emergency response solutions.
The funding round was led by Sciety, which cited Everdrone’s proven technology and clear healthcare application as key investment drivers. CEO Mats Sällström emphasised that the capital and strategic support will help scale operations and broaden service offerings as interest in drone-based emergency care continues to rise.
