Soon you will be able to reach Overseas France without any stopovers. The French airline XL Airways has announced a direct flight from Bordeaux to Fort-de-France next winter. Flight reservations are already available.

Well known by travellers from South West France, in 2018 XL Airways will take off from Bordeaux Airport, offering a direct flight to Martinique. Six departures will be scheduled between 2 January and 27 March 2018.

All the flights will be direct and will be operated by mono-class Airbus A330-200 and -300 equipped with wireless XL Cloud entertainment systems.

It is already possible to book these flights, with round-trip fares between Bordeaux and Fort de France starting at €519 (checked baggage of 23 kg, includes a hot meal and light snack).

Outward flight from Bordeaux at 5:15pm (Tuesday) > Arrival in Fort-de-France at 9:00pm (Tuesday)
Return flight from Fort-de-France at 11:00pm (Tuesday) > Arrival in Bordeaux at 12:05pm (Wednesday)

For the airport, the Antilles represent an attractive area of development. These leisure flights to the idyllic island of Martinique will provide the residents of Nouvelle Aquitaine with a sunny getaway this winter, with a direct flight from Bordeaux.
