On Monday, March 26, 2018, VLM Airlines will add Birmingham to its network. From Monday to Friday, the airline will fly daily from Antwerp to the English city in the West Midlands county. A second novelty this summer season is the doubling of the flight offer on the Antwerp-Munich route, as from 26 March VLM Airlines will fly twice a day to the Bavarian capital on weekdays. Tickets for the new route between Antwerp and Birmingham are available from € 39 * via www.flyvlm.com.
“From 26 March we offer an additional evening rotation between Antwerp and Munich. This route upgrade perfectly meets the needs of travellers flying to Munich for business and wanting to return to Antwerp the same day“, says Konstantijn Huys, Commercial Director of VLM Airlines. “Moreover, our morning flights to Munich and Maribor will leave three hours earlier. This will give our passengers more time to do business on the spot or to enjoy their city trip.”
VLM Airlines will also offer scheduled flights during the summer season from Antwerp to London City Airport (daily 3 to 4 return flights on weekdays), Zurich (twice a day on weekdays) and Maribor.
At VLM Airlines, a drink and snack are included in the ticket price and every passenger can also check in a baggage of up to 23 kg free of charge. At Antwerp Airport, passengers can check in up to 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time of their flight. Moreover, the Antwerp Airport car parks are much cheaper than those of the major Belgian airports: in Antwerp, you can park your car from 8 euros for a whole day.
More than 100 people are employed at VLM Airlines. The fleet has six Fokker 50s, each carrying 50 passengers.
