On December 27, 2018, the JSC “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company” signed the trilateral letter of intent (LOI) with KOM Airlines (Thailand) and Thai MRO company WishV, as part of the intergovernmental Russia-Thailand economy panel.

The LOI was signed at the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

According to the terms of the agreement signed, there should be six SSJ100s delivered in 2019-2020 to the upstart Thai airline. Furthermore, it was agreed that initially the layout would be 100 seats. The aircraft are to fly both within the country and abroad.

The WishV company is at the moment undergoing the process of approval as an SSJ100 maintenance station in Thailand. It is anticipated that the agreement is to be turned into a firm order early in 2019.
