Joon replaces Air France on the Mumbai route

FLY TO MUMBAI WITH JOON, THE NEW-GENERATION TRAVEL EXPERIENCE BY AIR FRANCE

Since 18 June 2018, Air France has entrusted its Paris-CDG – Mumbai service to Joon, the new-generation travel experience by Air France. The Group’s little sister now connects the two cities with a daily flight operated by Airbus A340 equipped with 278 seats with 30 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 227 in Economy.

 

Flight schedules*  (in local time):

AF218 : leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:30, arrives in Mumbai at 0:05 the next day;
AF557: leaves Mumbai at 1:55, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 8:05.
* Flights operated daily on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Joon, the new-generation travel experience by Air France

Business, Premium Economy and Economy customers will benefit from new cabins on board the Airbus A340s equipped with the latest-generation individual touch-screens to enjoy some one hundred films. They will also have free access to YouJoon, the in-flight streaming system on their own smartphone, tablet or laptop.  The entertainment programme includes TV series, web TV, cartoons, music and much more.

As for the dining offer, Joon invites you to delight your taste buds in the Business cabin, from starter to dessert, including sweet and savoury snacks. In Premium Economy and Economy class, a full meal and a second catering service will be offered. In addition, customers will be able to discover a selection of organic, natural or gourmet products available for sale from the Joon crews – aperitifs, smoothies, ice-cream, hamburgers, sweet and savoury snacks, and more.

Joon, the launch airline of Allosky virtual reality glasses

To enjoy a fully immersive cinema experience in the sky, Joon customers can rent* Allosky by SkyLights virtual reality glasses. These are the latest generation of virtual reality glasses offering Full HD resolution (1,080 pixels per eye). They come with a Bluetooth noise-reducing headset for an even greater sensory experience.

In Mumbai and Paris, whether you have a connection on an Air France group flight or with its SkyTeam partners, you will benefit from Air France assistance and seamless connecting channels.

Ivory, Silver, Gold or Platinum? You can earn and spend Miles with Flying Blue, the Air France-KLM group’s frequent flyer programme, and enjoy the same advantages as with an Air France flight.

Business, Flying Blue Gold and Platinum customers can access the Air France lounges and enjoy SkyPriority access at security checks, check-in, boarding and priority baggage drop-off.

Finally, following on from the flights operated by Air France and as part of the enhanced cooperation agreement between the Air France-KLM group and Jet Airways, customers will benefit from multiple travel options to 44 Indian destinations.
