Following on from the successful launch of direct flights between Berlin-Tegel and Tel Aviv, Germania has made additional flights on this route available for booking. The airline with the green and white aircraft will continue to operate three flights a week – on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays – between the German capital and the Israeli coastal metropolis at the end of the winter schedule. Germania added this route to its flight schedule in November 2017, with the first flight taking off just a few days later.

Germania is the only service airline to offer flights from Berlin-Tegel to Tel Aviv. Our guests enjoy free onboard catering as well as a free baggage allowance of 25 kg in addition to 6 kg of cabin baggage – making your Germania flight very comfortable,” commented Claus Altenburg, Director Sales at Germania, promoting a route that is now available all year round.

Since 2015 Germania has been flying to this major Israeli city from Hamburg and Düsseldorf throughout the year. In November 2017 the airline also started a service from Nuremberg, which again is available all year round. Consequently, travellers from Germany have a choice of 11 green and white flights a week to Tel Aviv.

Tickets from Berlin are available from just 79 euros one way and can be booked online at flygermania.com, by calling +49 30 610 818 000 (standard rate from German landlines, mobile phone charges may vary), or via a travel agent. All prices quoted include tax and fees, as well as the legally-required air travel surcharge.

Germania is an independent German airline which was established over 30 years ago. On short-haul and medium-haul flights the airline, with its distinctive green and white livery, carries more than 3 million passengers per year. Germania offers connections from 20 departure airports in Europe to over 55 destinations within the continent, North Africa and the Middle East. Reversing the common industry trend, Germania continues to offer complimentary snacks, soft drinks, magazines and a minimum of 20 kg free baggage allowance. Germania operates scheduled, charter and ad-hoc flights. Together with the Swiss airline Germania Flug AG and Bulgarian Eagle, Germania’s fleet currently has 29 aircraft. Germania Technik Brandenburg GmbH is responsible for the company’s aircraft maintenance. www.flygermania.com
