Germania Boeing 737 collides with parked El AL Boeing 767 during push back at Tel Aviv Airport

A Germania Boeing 737 (D-ABLB) was being pushed back from its gate at Tel Aviv airport on Wednesday morning (28 March), on her way to Berlin TXL as GMI4915. The aircraft got seriously damaged as it collided with a parked El Al Boeing 767 (4X-EAK). The latter was scheduled for flight LY385 to Rome Fiumicino.

Israel Airport Authority said that the passengers disembarked the planes safely and that there were no injuries. An investigation has been launched to look into the incident.

Passengers were rebooked on other flights.
