As already announced yesterday in our forum, Flybe will stop flying the route between London Southend and Antwerp after 31 August 2019. The flights are currently operated by Stobart ATR72-600 aircraft.

It is not the first announcement that the airline will abandon the route. Initially, it intended to stop on 25 October 2019, at the end of the Summer season.

Passengers booked after 31 August will be reimbursed or offered alternative flights.

After 1 September 2019, there will no longer be an airline flying between Antwerp and the London area, although Air Antwerp (a start-up funded by KLM and CityJet) announced plans to operate the route from Antwerp to London City Airport with Fokker F-50 aircraft.
