2 for 1 – twice the fun on long-haul flights

Attracting an increasing numbers of holidaymakers each year, Abu Dhabi is always worth a visit. Last year alone 148,177 guests from Germany flocked to the Emirate. Now airberlin guests will have a greater chance to explore the emirate with a longer  stopover in Abu Dhabi.  It is now easier than ever to drop in on several destinations on the combined route network of airberlin, Etihad Airways and Etihad Airways Partner airlines during the course of just one holiday. Travellers can book their flight on airberlin.com and select a stopover deal in Abu Dhabi, which is just six hours from Europe.

The promotion gives travellers two nights in Abu Dhabi for the price of one. Accommodation starts at US$37.Visitors have the pick of over 50 hotels in Abu Dhabi and five hotels in the neighbouring Emirate of Dubai. The offer applies only in conjunction with a connecting flight with Etihad Airways or one of its partner airlines. Once there, many of the attractions in the stopover are free of charge for a travelling companion. Activities are grouped into categories, including beaches, weddings, shopping and spa holidays.

Located between Europe and Asia, Abu Dhabi is the ideal place for a stopover. One of the many travel options offers a two-day stay in Abu Dhabi with various activities such as shopping, visiting the world’s fastest rollercoaster and a trip out into the desert, before heading on for scuba diving off the Maldives. Detailed information is available online: www.airberlin.com/stopover.

airberlin and Etihad Airways together offer daily non-stop services to Abu Dhabi from Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna and Zurich.
