Air Italy starts selling Olbia Public Service Obligation routes, to be operated from 8 June

Air Italy will operate starting next Saturday, June 8th the PSO routes Olbia – Milan Linate and Olbia – Rome Fiumicino and vice versa

Air Italy announced today that, following the agreement with the Regione Sardegna and Alitalia regarding the PSO routes Olbia-Rome Fiumicino and Olbia-Milan Linate (and vice versa), it will immediately proceed to open the flights for sale starting today with operation from June 8th, 2019.

Air Italy’s Chief Operating Officer, Rossen Dimitrov, said: “This day is particularly important and happy for Air Italy, for our employees and for all our regular customers who have been relying on our services for their travel to and from Rome and Milan. We are proud and eager to welcome them on board together with all the countless new tourists who are planning to spend their summer holidays in Sardinia.

“We have had many months of complex and challenging discussions to reach this point, but finally we have been able to achieve our primary objective – that of protecting our Olbia staff and our investments made over the past 50 years in serving Sardinia.”

Air Italy’s schedules PSO flights operated from/to Olbia Costa Smeralda airport:

Olbia-Milan Linate: flights departure at 07:10 (IG1225); 11:00 (IG1209); 15:15 (IG1211) e 19:15 (IG1207)

Milan Linate-Olbia: flights departure at 09:05 (IG1202); 13:15 (IG 1210); 17:10 (IG1212) e 21:05 (IG1208)

Olbia-Rome Fiumicino: flights departure at 07:00 (IG1111); 11:30 (IG1123); 14:45 (IG1119) e 19:50 (IG1113)

Rome Fiumicino-Olbia: flights departure at 08:45 (IG1112); 13:15 (IG 1124); 16:30 (IG1120) e 21:35 (IG1116)

The Company would like to highlight that starting from 27 July with the closure of the Linate Airport, the same flights will be operated to and from Malpensa.
