FlyingGroup, one of Europe’s leading business jet operators, is investing €1.5 million in a new building at Antwerp Airport. The company offers direct private flights between Antwerp Airport and destinations in Europe, China and the United States.
“Our fleet consists of 45 aircraft, of which fifteen are based at Antwerp Airport“, says Bernard Van Milders, managing director of FlyingGroup. “In Antwerp, we employ 150 people. From October, our staff will temporarily move to an office just outside the airport as we are going to tear down the current building, which is thirty years old. In May next year the energy-efficient and completely new office building should be ready.”
“Antwerp Airport is an asset and I do not believe in closing the airport“
“Antwerp Airport is the ideal airport for businessman“, says Van Milders. “Unlike Brussels Airport, our passengers can show up only ten minutes before the flight, they can decide their departure time themselves. Moreover, our passengers have internet and telephone coverage on board thanks to satellites. Businessman can continue working without losing valuable time.”
