Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600E business jet to Flexjet, making the private aviation company the fleet launch customer for the upgraded super-midsize aircraft.
The delivery forms part of the companies’ agreement announced in February 2025, valued at up to $7 billion. It includes firm orders for 182 aircraft, options for another 30 and an expanded service and support package. Flexjet is also due to receive the first Praetor 500E during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Unveiled in February 2026 and certified by Brazilian, US and European regulators in April, the Praetor 600E offers a range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441 kilometres) with four passengers, allowing nonstop flights such as London–New York and São Paulo–Miami.
Flexjet’s first aircraft features Embraer’s Smart Window, a 42-inch 4K OLED touchscreen supporting videoconferencing and content streaming, as well as live external views from three cameras. Other improvements include redesigned seating, an upgraded cabin-management system and an enhanced galley.
The aircraft also features full fly-by-wire controls with active turbulence reduction, an enhanced vision system and technology designed to alert pilots to the risk of a runway overrun.
