All 23 Star Alliance member carriers serving North America are once again participating at the Global Business Travel Association’s (GBTA) Annual Convention, which this year is being held in Orlando, Florida,July 27th – 29th.

The Alliance booth (#930) will be the one-stop shop for attendees wishing to find out more information about the Alliance and its member airlines. The booth layout features an open look and feel, with the round concierge desk welcoming customers. The Alliance’s overall offer to corporate travel buyers and customers is manifold, ranging from individual travel solutions offered directly by the member airline, to contracts with several airlines under the Star Alliance banner. As all offers are tailor-made, delegates are asked to drop by and speak to the representatives from the participating Star Alliance airlines. Each airline has a designated kiosk where their representatives can provide the relevant information and hold individual customer conversations.

This year’s Star Alliance booth promotion is a slot machine: hit three Star Alliance Stars on the winning line and walk away with one of the many fabulous airline roundtrip tickets for two*. All direct GBTA members have one chance each to play and can get up to five additional chances if they visit the various Star Alliance member carrier kiosks to obtain more information on these airlines.

To showcase their premium cabin products, Air Canada, Avianca and LOT Polish Airlines are displaying Business Class seats.

With regard to its global network, Star Alliance has just this past week welcomed Avianca Brasil to its global family. The airline has added 15 new destinations to the Alliance’s existing 12 in Brazil, while at the same time providing a domestic offer in Latin America’s largest aviation market.
