Zurich Airport welcomed 2.93 million passengers in June 2025, a 4.5% increase year-on-year. Local passengers totalled 2.15 million, while transfer passengers accounted for 26% (772,712).
For the first half of 2025, total passenger traffic reached 14.96 million, surpassing pre-pandemic 2019 levels for the first time and setting a new record, with a 0.2% increase over H1 2019.
Air traffic movements rose 2.6% to 24,205 in June, with an average of 139 passengers per flight (+1%). The seat load factor remained steady at 82%.
However, freight volumes declined by 4.1% year-on-year, with 35,905 tonnes handled during the month.
