Zurich Airport welcomed 3.27 million passengers in August 2025, a 5.5% increase year-on-year and the highest monthly total ever recorded, surpassing the previous peak set in July.

- Daily record: 155,587 travellers on 3 August, the busiest day in the airport’s history.
Operational figures
- Take-offs and landings: 25,279 (+4.8%)
- Average passengers per movement: 145.9 (+0.9%)
- Seat load factor: 84.8% (slightly down 0.4 pp)
Cargo: 34,578 tonnes handled (+2.8% year-on-year).
With strong summer holiday demand, Zurich achieved back-to-back monthly passenger records in July and August.
