Zurich Airport handled 2.35 million passengers in November 2025, marking a 7.1% year-on-year increase. Of these, 1.61 million were local passengers, while 734,056 were transfer passengers, representing 31.3% of total traffic.
Aircraft movements rose 5.3% to 20,168 take-offs and landings. The average number of passengers per movement increased slightly to 130.3, while the seat load factor edged down to 76.3%, a decrease of 0.6 percentage points compared with last year.
Cargo traffic also showed solid performance, with 38,961 tonnes of freight handled during the month, an increase of 3.9% year on year, underlining continued strength in Zurich Airport’s cargo operations.
