Today 22 June 2017, just after 6.00 PM, a CASA C-295 transport airplane from Kazakhstan was damaged during landing at Warsaw Chopin airport. Airport staff secured the venue. At the airport, flight operations were continuing on one single runway. There are no victims.

Preparations for towing away the airplane from the site of the incident began after one or two hours. The runway, on which the plane landed, was checked. There is no damage.

The aircraft has been towed away from the airport manoeuvring area, assisted by the airport vehicles and staff. The airport then resumed operations on the second runway.
